How many times has your computer crashed and you were unable to open your files or data ?
Well if your like me, at times when I really needed to access important apps and files.
Why are backups so Crucial?
Backups are so important because they protect your data from loss due to accidental deletion, cyber attacks, and hardware failure esp Drive failures that can't be recovered.
Hopefully you have a back up strategy either online or usb drives and a spare Drive .
With my new seagate NVME drive I had access to Seagates Disk Wizard backup software (version of Acronis) completely free.
It is very easy to use I have selected Full backup
Select source as above left hand pane, then select right hand panel and target path ie M2 backup.
Press backup and that's it.
All done in about 10 minutes.
This is a full backup of drive not a image copy , so in event of drive failure , replace drive different make or size and restore.
You have to create a bootable USB or cd from the next tab within Disk Wizard only takes few minutes.
Now you have a backup which will save you a lot of time and frustration.
Also with my Seagate NVME drive I have
3 Years Rescue Data Recovery Services !
Another common backup for files is
Microsoft One Drive.
Personally i have the Family Edition which allows for 6 people share 6TB, so 1TB per person for backup and data, and gives you access to the premium selection of MS products.
It's fantastic for sharing family photos and projects you may be working on.
So here I've just shown 2 possible solutions for your files and data there are many more out there for you to discover , I do like the ease of these products .
Protect your files and data, because when you lose access to a drive you will be glad you had a backup.
