Nvidia RTX4060 a Good Card for 1080p Gamers?

Finally the time has come to upgrade my GTX980 graphics card i have set myself a budget of less than £300.

As this is a 10 year old card I set off looking for a fairly new and decent replacement with the latest chipset that Nvidia offers. After a few days I decided on  the MSI RTX4060 Gaming x.

I had set myself  a shopping list of features that I wanted with this new graphics card to go with my upgraded computer

When it comes to choosing the right graphics card for gaming, there are plenty of options available and a lot of very high price points !

The MSI Nvidia RTX4060 Gaming x comes slightly factory overclocked and is equipped with the latest Ada lovelace architecture and  comes with a boost in performance over its predecessors. 

Sadly only With 8GB of GDDR6 memory (well can't have everything at this price point), the MSI Nvidia RTX4060 Gaming x does ensure smooth gameplay and seamless multitasking capabilities.

As it comes equipped with Ray tracing technology and DLSS 3 support to further enhance the visual quality and performance of games (game supported that is )providing a truly immersive gaming experience.

With a price point  (£295) which is relatively lower than higher-end graphics cards, the MSI Nvidia RTX4060 Gaming x is indeed a budget-friendly option.

As a dedicated gamer myself and after upgrading to the MSI Nvidia RTX4060 Gaming x I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance , its a quantum leap from my GTX980 !

The bench mark core is what I was expecting with my budget setup up so am pleased that it beats 60% of computers tested .

While in game graphics quality and frame rates I have experienced while playing my 2 favourite games were  truly amazing ! They both support DLSS 3 as well !

At 1080p resolution gaming has been outstanding, providing a truly heart thumping time especially in Doom Eternal so face paced can't even drink a beer When battle starts!

The MSI Nvidia RTX4060 Gaming x has exceeded my expectations in terms of both value for money and performance, making it a wise choice for any 1080p gamer looking to upgrade their setup.

There are a lot of fantastic Nvidia RTX cards but they are a lot more expensive and require a new updated screen to accommodate the jump in graphic resolution - far too expensive for me!

In conclusion, the MSI Nvidia RTX4060 Gaming x is indeed a good card, With its impressive features, robust performance, and reasonable price point, it ticks all the boxes for gamers looking to enhance their gaming experience at 1080P without breaking the bank.
